Programmers

When sending a solution to a programming question, please send the entire Visual Studio solution in .zip format, excluding the debug/release folders and the .ncb file. Visual Studio Express is free to download, so there should be no problem creating the solution.
Game Programmer

College level experience with C++ is required. Must work well with others, as all projects are team oriented.

Game programmers are responsible for writing code related to the general aspect of game programming including gameplay, game logic, state machines, factories, etc. They may also be asked to help with graphics, tools, and engine code.

Graphics Programmer

College level experience with C++ is required. 2+ years experience with high level shader languages is preferred. Must work well with others, as all projects are team oriented. Knowlegde of Cg is required to solve the problem.

Graphics programmers are responsible for writing shaders, moving CPU load to GPU, and other graphics code.

Tools Programmer

2+ years experience with C# is required. Experience with C++ is preffered. Must work well with others, as all projects are team oriented. Please send an impressive tool created by you in the format above with your resume.

Tools programmers are responsible for writing tools to help keep an efficient workflow like editors.

A.I. and Interactivity Programmer

College level experience with C++ is required. Must work well with others, as all projects are team oriented.

Gameplay and A.I. programmers are responsible for writing code that interacts with the player, and that the player can interact with.

Artists


It is preferred that the artist supply a website with an online portfolio and a streaming demo reel.
3D Artist

Responsible for creating all kinds of 3D art. Creation includes modeling and texturing.

3D Animator

Responsible for rigging and creating animations for in-engine and/or cinematic meshes.

2D Artist

Responsible for creating works of art on paper and/or 2D art using Adobe Photoshop to be put into games like Graphical User Interfaces.

Technical Artist

Responsible for approving work done by other artists by ensuring that the artwork works in-engine and meet specified criteria and standards. Also will work on technical aspects of game art.

Designers

Game Designer

Responsible for leading a team toward an initial design and for maintaining that design throughout the development process. Will have to make difficult decisions and create a prioritized feature set.

Level Designer

Responsible for using a proprietary in-engine level editor to create levels that will be used in game. Will be required to script, manipulate terrain, place object, and possibly create objects for use in the level.

Scripter

Responsible for scripting using various languages that may include Lua, Python, ActionScript, and a proprietary scripting language.

Creative Writer

Responsible for writing dialogue, narration, and documentation for games. Will generally be converting generic paragraphs to creative literature.
